Shopping List

  • 2 cans navy beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 pound bacon — ½ pound of this diced
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • ⅓ cup BBQ Sauce
  • ⅓ cup yellow mustard
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 8 slices american cheese
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ½ tablespoon pepper

Instructions

Beans

  1. Take the navy and pinto beans and drain
  2. Add ½ onion and ½ pound of bacon to the beans — Onion and bacon should be cooked before
  3. Add brown sugar, pepper, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, and water
  4. Incorporate the mixture well and return the beans back to the cans

Hot dogs

  1. Cut hot dogs in half lengthwise and 1 slice of cheese
  2. Add sliced jalapeno
  3. Take 1 slice of bacon and wrap the hot dog so the cheese and jalapeno stay
  4. Once you have all hot dogs cut, with cheese, and wrapped use a cooking scure to add all to grill
  5. Add hot dogs and beans to grill and cook until done
